Neame Lea appointed PSP IT Design and development to design and develop a new fully mobile responsive website, this would replace their existing website with a new updated site, which would display all new developments, to include their individual brands of Neame lea Fresh, Neame lea Marketing, Neame lea Nursery and Neame Lea Outlet.

  • A new design for their website

  • A responsive-website-enabling site to be viewed acroos all devices

  • Various new pages

  • A content management system (CMS)

  • A new contact US page for customer enquiries

  • A vacancies listing page for prospective employees to apply for positions directly

The functional specification was created by the development team at PSP and from there submitted to the directors of Neame Lea Nursery to be approved and subsequently signed off in readiness for the design and development to begin.

PSP developed the new website for Neame Lea using the free content source Umbraco for the content management system, this enables designated staff at Neame Lea to keep the front-end of the website updated with the latest offers, new products and forthcoming events all with the greatest of ease.

The User Acceptance Training held at PSP's  fully equipped training suite was attended by members of the Neame Lea team, where detailed step-by-step test plans and user guides were used to assist the appointed persons with the process of updating any images or information they would wish to promote on the website.

PSP created a number of pages within the website for their customers, these include:

  • A Contact Us Page
  • Latest News
  • Gallery page
  • Vacant positions available with  application and a  CV Upload facility

Through the addition of these pages, users are able to complete and submit a contact us form for more information about Neame Lea products, view their gallery of images and read the latest news and also apply for vacant positions, all from the new website.

The new website gives Neame Lea total control over their website content, the ability to add new special offers, plant ranges and latest news information for their customers.

It also gives:

  • New, fresh look and feel to the website

  • Providing user friendly navigation for all visitors to the site

  • Offering the added benefit of responsive design for ease of use on all devices

  • Easy user access for Neame Lea to the CMS enabling instant updates to their web pages

The merger with Dutch flowers and plant firm Zyon, which took place in August 2016 has created a very successful company with a combined UK turnover of 35 million, making Neame Lea the largest grower/packer plant operation in the UK.
