The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) provides health, safety and environmental qualifications to more than 400,000 members. Our work includes the unique eMark software; an online marking tool that automatically assigns papers to examiners and tracks their progress. There are currently 100 active users who mark approximately 1500 papers per month through eMark.

Most recently, our adaptiveness and quick turnaround time saw us fulfil CIPS’ desire to give candidates a grade without sitting an exam as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Our modification to the system automatically assigned every failed candidate a free resit voucher to book another exam and sent all communications to their web portal. As the system managed a large amount of work, staff were able to focus on other areas of the business during the difficult time for all examination bodies.
