Our disaster recovery plan, combined with our BA skillset, meant they quickly adapted to the recent global pandemic with very minimal impact to how their staff operates. Their 200 staff were able to work remotely throughout the crisis, operating as if they would if they were in the office.

Our knowledge of the educational sector proved invaluable as we updated their old legacy system to a new CRM to provide a system that met their business needs.

 

Reducing workload and improving customer experience

After being approached by a major professional body, PSP’s team of business analysts considerably reduced the manual work for the client’s staff while hugely enhancing their customer experience.

PSP worked closely with the 150,000 member-strong professional body to identify recommendations to their time-consuming subscription application and renewal process. On every occasion, the customer’s operational teams processed subscriber discounts manually after their end user had applied for the subscription. Subsequently, this resulted in end users paying the full fee up front, to then receive a refund covering the discount later.

 

 

Certain applications did not require manual intervention for approval, which resulted in a sub-optimal experience for the customer and considerable time was wasted for the staff. This further lead to an inefficient working structure and wasted cost for the organisation.

After understanding the customer journey, PSP’s business analyst team produced recommendations and provided the client with an understandable plan of the changes needed to its IT systems and team’s processes.

As a result, the end-user experience for the customer was vastly improved and the manual effort from its customer operational team was greatly reduced.
