Vibrant Online Ecommerce Stores With Added Value

We’ve recently completed some complex and very exciting online ecommerce store projects. Most web design and development houses can build an ecommerce store but we take pride in the fact that we can go much further and give that bit extra value to our customers and their customers.

Arrow Films
The online ecommerce store we had the pleasure of building for Arrow Films is a good example. Established in 1991, Arrow Films is a leading independent entertainment distribution company operating in the UK, USA, Canada and the Republic Of Ireland. They also specialise in restoring and distributing classic and cult horror films, organising event-status screening at cultural festivals and one-off screenings in film societies and cinemas.
Arrow needed a fully functional online ecommerce store to allow its customers to log in, make purchases, collect and redeem loyalty points, leave film reviews and browse cinema listings. In addition to this, they needed the website to automate interactions with their supplier applications and additionally their own new information portal (Intranet).
The new Arrow website is an extremely powerful online ecommerce store and management system. The website enables Arrow to automate their stock ordering, stock processing, reporting and other businesses processes, allowing them to operate with increased efficiency while making significant cost savings.
The automated reporting function allows Arrow to generate a range of different reports from sales and order details to financial information.

Gear 4 Motorcycles
Gear 4 Motorcycles have a large retail store as well as an online ecommerce store, selling new motorcycles, used motorcycles, parts, accessories, clothing and servicing of bikes.
As retailers of different brands, they needed two completely different websites with one central content management system (CMS). This would allow both sites to be updated at the same time using one set of content.
They also required a full integration with their CRM system, where exchange of product details, customer information and financial administration could operate seamlessly.
The finished websites, jointly managed using an Umbraco content management system, provides Arrow with a quick and easy way of managing two websites whilst integrating with their CRM system to allow full information exchange.

Full Independent Testing Process
PSP are unique in that all of our websites are put through their paces by our user acceptance testing team. The team have no involvement in the design or development of the sites and approach them “cold”, as our clients would. They work independently on behalf of the client and fully test every aspect of each website, liaising with the design and development teams about any bits and pieces that don’t operate as expected. They make recommendations about improvements and oversee the completion of the finished websites.
This means that our websites are delivered to our customers having already completed rigorous testing, with very little, if anything left to sort out before going live.
