Why Use PSP?

11th September 2019

People, Systems and Process Limited was formed in 2008 because both directors felt many IT systems didn’t truly integrate people, systems and processes. They felt that systems were not always fit for purpose, the costs escalated and timings overran. When setting up PSP, our vision was to be different.
We work very closely with people to understand their requirements, understand each business process in detail and propose a development for the customer to sign off. We then carry out the project to a fixed price and deliver on time every time with exceptional quality.

There are six very good reasons why you should come to PSP:

1. User Acceptance Testing
We take great pride in the success of our user acceptance testing. Our UAT team have no involvement in the design and development of our client projects and they work as an independent testing unit on behalf of the client. They run through every single aspect of every project in fine detail, testing all the functionality on different devices and browsers. They proof read the text and generally fine-tune each development project before it is handed over to clients.

2. Umbraco
The majority of our websites are built using Umbraco. Umbraco is a Content Management System (CMS) with superb functionality that gives our customers the very best in terms of design and options. We can create beautiful websites, featuring everything our clients need, exactly matching their requirements. Umbraco is so easy to use that it often means we are able to build websites much more quickly than developers using other CMS platforms, bringing design and development costs down for our clients.

3. No Hidden Costs
We spend a considerable amount of time understanding our customer requirements to ensure prices do not escalate and to make certain that all our customers are delighted with the end result. No hidden costs, no project creep, and very clear up-front pricing.
It is these philosophies which have seen PSP grow and have allowed us to remain extremely competitive in delivering a finished product that is fit for purpose and exceeds expectations.

4. Microsoft Partner Silver Application
In February 2012, PSP Ltd gained the Silver Application Development Status in the Microsoft Partner Network, something that only 5% of developing houses in the world can claim. This reflects the quality of our work and our dedication to standards, both core features of the company.
This accreditation has been now been renewed up to 2021 after the senior development team passed Microsoft accreditation examinations in December 2018.

5. Regional Winner of Small Business of the Year
At the British Chamber Awards in 2018, we were thrilled to be awarded the regional small business of the year for the whole of the east midlands. The judging criteria for this award includes:

• What differentiates the company's products/services from competitors
• Strong managerial and financial performance
• Innovation
• Potential for growth
• Evidence of the businesses commitment to staff
This is the second time in 3 years that we have won this award!

6. Our bespoke application and coding knowledge & experience
Some IT developments require a bit more than basic design and development knowledge. A lot of the projects that we work on involve very detailed, intricate coding. If you can’t find an application or platform that does what you need it to, we can build one for you. One of our most popular products, Microsoft Outlook Tracker, was built because of a client’s request for software that would monitor employee email productivity without compromising privacy.

PSP – People, Systems and Processes… remember what we stand for and please get in touch with any design and development enquiries. We’re a friendly bunch and we’ll be happy to help!
