The government has announced businesses across the UK can access up to £5,000 in funding for technology and specialist advice to help them bounce back from COVID.

The £20million of funding, announced last month by the Minister of Regional Growth and Local Government, will give small and medium-sized business access to grants between £1,000 - £5,000. The grant will help businesses across England recover from the effects of the pandemic.

The grants will be fully funded by the government from the England European Regional Development Fund and is distributed through Growth Hubs, embedded in local areas across England.

The grants help business access specialist professional advice in sectors such as IT, and to purchase equipment to adapt or adopt new technology in order to continue deliver business activity or diversify.
