In October, we worked hard to bring a brand-new cloud-based software to market, VISION Horticulture. Last week we put the finishing touches to the product’s website and have made some exciting plans to market the horticultural product.

For the past 5 years, a desktop version of the system has been in use for one of the UK's largest nurseries and completely transformed their way of working. By bringing this software to a web-based version, we have drastically improved the look and feel of the software and given users remote access to the system.

Built with commercial growers and nurseries in mind, the system is full of features that take all the stresses away for new product development teams when bringing new ranges to market.

Users can easily pull together individual components (such as live goods, hardware, accessories and labour) to seamlessly build their entire ranges from one place with a couple of clicks. The system does all the complicated calculations for them, as it works out Bill of Materials, cost breakdowns, delivery cost and profit margins, among many others.

Teams can work collaboratively even when working remotely, ensuring a seamless and autonomous new product development process.

Built on our VISION platform, the application allows for easy customisation and generates bespoke reports, product specs and even customer presentations.

The cloud-based application is accessed through a web browser, meaning it's secure and accessible anytime for staff members.

Having worked with one of the largest suppliers of fresh-cut flowers for several years, we’ve been able to combine our industry knowledge with our flair for development to create this truly innovative software for nurseries and suppliers.
