PSP IT Achieves GOLD Microsoft Partner Status

PSP IT Achieves GOLD Microsoft Partner Status

PSP IT is delighted to have achieved its Microsoft Gold partner status for application development and application integration, meaning we have been recognised for our proven and specialised skillset.

We reached the Gold partner status after five of our developers achieved their qualifications in January, while a further developer is going for gold later this month.

There are hundreds of Microsoft partners specialising in integration and developing; but only 1% achieve gold because of their strict requirements. When it comes to reputation and trust level, you can't get better than gold.

There are an estimated 640,000 Microsoft partners, which means only 1 in 640 have gold status.

Being a Microsoft Gold partner means we have been trusted by Microsoft to deliver the exceptional proficiency and top-notch services. This is audited yearly, so you know you're always getting the very latest technologies from the very best people.

What does Gold Status mean?

Gold partners are recognised for offering innovative business solutions and have been certified by Microsoft as an organisation committed to excellence in evolving Microsoft technologies.

The gold certification is the highest certification a Microsoft partner can obtain. To become a Gold partner, you must demonstrate top-level expertise and proficiency in your competency areas and you must undergo rigorous training and examinations in order to achieve the certification.

Here are five reasons why you should "go for gold" when looking for a Microsoft Partner:

  1. Always up to date

Microsoft technologies are constantly changing, as does their competency requirements. Keeping up with these changes is essential for maintain both efficiency and security. A Gold partner is one of the first to hear about what Microsoft is up to, which will keep your systems updated and your IT running smoothly. Not only that, but working with a Gold partner also gives you early access to the newest Microsoft releases.

  1. Receive clear guidance on Microsoft products

Microsoft is the leader in enterprise software. With that comes the burden of choosing the right product and configuration to solve your business problem for the long-term. A Gold partner has the expertise and knowledge to advise and guide their clients towards the best possible solutions for their needs and implement them to the highest standards.

  1. Direct connection to Microsoft

A Gold partner can provide you with the licenses you need to solve your specific problem directly from Microsoft, saving you from interacting with a Microsoft salesperson. Not only this, but they have proven their in-house competencies, which means they don’t need to ask Microsoft for assistance often. In the rare times they do, Gold partners have access to fast response times and prioritised customer care.

  1. Expert-level services

The Microsoft Gold partner certification is the highest accolade, therefore only awarded to the best of the best. When assessing partners, they’re looking for exceptional proficiency, great customer care and innovative solutions. Being Gold certified means you’ve received the highest accolade from the world’s leading computing company. That’s a serious honour.

  1. Maintain high standards across your organisation’s infrastructure

Utilising new technologies in your organisation is great until something bad happens. With your IT infrastructure being essential to your organisation’s operations, implementing and configuring new technologies requires a sound understanding of the best practices.

Microsoft Gold partners have the minute attention to detail that separates them from a Silver or non-certified partner. And that’s what makes IT happen.

Being a Microsoft Gold partner isn’t just about bragging rights; as well as paying testament to our immeasurable strength in depth, it has genuine benefits to both the customer and its supplier.
