PSP—IT win two major new contracts

17th December 2013

PSP-IT have won the opportunity to work with business development and improvement company, EMB based in Derby, on their rebranding and redevelopment of their website.

The new brand and website, which will be launched in June 2014, will bring a more modern look and feel to the website whilst enabling an easier user journey. With the ever increasing trend in accessing the web whilst on the move the new website will incorporate responsive design allowing easy viewing on all types of devices from SMART phones and tablets through to laptops and desktops.

One of EMB's requirements is to have to be able to have promotional areas of the website which allow specific content to be targeted to visitors. The website will also provide integration to their back office system and deliver real efficiency benefits enabling them to grow and offer more services.

Coventry and Solihull Waste Disposal Company (CSWDC)

PSP-IT have won a contract with Coventry and Solihull Waste Disposal Company (CSWDC) to move their existing Access database onto a new SharePoint system which be launched by April 2014. CSWDC are an independent waste management company and their main business is extracting energy (heat and electrical power) from municipal and commercial solid waste.

Their existing system is no longer supported and is preventing sharing information throughout the organisation. The new more modern system will be web based removing the need for installation on individual user machines and provide sharing portals both companywide and by department as required.
