PSP Strengthens Internal Quality with Brand New SharePoint Intranet

Earlier this year, and after the hard work by all those involved, we were delighted to launch our internal Training Academy which we built on Microsoft SharePoint.

Phase 1 of our internal quality project saw all our training guides moved to the new intranet-based central location. We've also introduced training videos for each department in the organisation, so every staff member has all the resources they need on hand to immerse themselves in all projects; new and old.

The Training Suite includes a page for each client. Within that, there are various resources, including:

  • User Guides: These are the extensive user guides we have created for each client for each of their system and/or project as part of their go live. We pride ourselves on our aftercare support and our detailed user guides is a strong example of this.
  • Internal Development User Guides: Internal user guides for our in-house development team. These detail the code and the back-end infrastructure of all the systems, APIs and websites for each client. This means knowledge is shared and no project is ever in the hands of just one developer. It also means new starters can gain a thorough understand of all of our clients' bespoke systems.
  • Supporting Documentation: Additional documentation provided to use by each client, such as branding guidelines, logos etc.
  • Training Videos: These provide quick, engaging training videos for our products, systems and processes for all staff both old and new.


Why did we do this?

The SharePoint Academy provides our staff (both old and new) with a reliable source of training materials and information. With more than a decade in the business, it's easy to get lost in our immersive portfolio. By creating this new training academy, all of our projects, clients and portfolios are all in one place.

Earlier this year, we were awarded with double Microsoft Gold partner status for application development and application integration. We have more than 14 years' experience delivering bespoke projects to a range of clients from across different sectors. In that time, we have worked with some of the largest chartered institutes and awarding bodies in the county.
