Pioneering IT and web development business PSP based in Spalding are celebrating their success winning Lincolnshire Business of the Year at the annual South Holland Business Awards during the gala evening held on Thursday 20th November.
Championing their unique business model which is based on high quality standards, this Spalding based business for the second year running captured the eyes of the judging panel.
In addition, their apprentice James Swaby, who was nominated within the Apprentice of the Year category, narrowly missed the winning place, walking triumphantly away with a highly commended achievement.
CEO Joe Verde and CTO (Chief Technical Officer) Brett Caruso attended the black tie dinner and both accepted the accolade. “We were very surprised to be nominated and be selected as winner of the category. We’re absolutely thrilled,” commented Joe Verde, CEO.
The journey to date for this growing IT systems and web development company has been of strength and resilience through recessionary years and yet still have continued to develop new technologies for their growing client base.
Joe Verde explained; "It's been an incredible journey of six years to date where we've ridden out the recession. From a team of two to now fifteen and during the last year we also employed our first apprentice, James and we are very proud of his achievements this evening.” Joe continued; “Within our business we are committed to investing in our quality approach, customer service and development of people and new solutions. This year we launched a brand new modular CRM system called VISION, which has been designed to meet the flexible and individual demands of business today.”
In 2013 PSP took home the Best Use of IT and Communication prize at these awards. The South Holland Business Awards are run by Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Spalding and District Chamber of Commerce.
